easy access to parks and local attractions near the hotel
during my stay, I was pleasantly surprised by how close I was to Cheslyn House and Gardens, which was just over 2 km away and provided a beautiful spot for a leisurely stroll. The convenience of being only a short walk from the vibrant Intu Watford shopping center made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable, even if there was a bit of a stylishly dated feel to the room itself.

The spacious reception area and friendly staff immediately set a welcoming tone. Rooms were tidy with comfortable beds, perfect for a short stay. The dining area offered a satisfying breakfast with a variety of options, including hot dishes and fruit. be aware that there is no air conditioning. my room became quite warm despite the provided fans, leading to a restless night. The room was spacious and had a nice long bench to put my luggage on. I loved having a bathtub. The bathroom was a bit dated but still clean. The bed was comfy, and the windows opened for some fresh air, but it got a bit loud with the traffic outside. it felt safe and welcoming during my stay.

The room was quite cozy with a unique L-shape and windows on two sides, which I liked. There was a comfy chair and a little table, perfect for watching TV. The bed fit my needs as a solo traveler. I enjoyed the mint-scented shower wash! I did have to run the shower a while to get hot water, which wasted some cold water, but it wasn't a huge deal. it had a charming vibe.

First off, check in was a breeze, staff were beyond friendly and welcoming! We had a decent size room, the beds were okay and the shower worked just fine, nothing fancy but did the job. The breakfast was great value too, full English for under £8, with all the fixings, can't beat that!
Now I won't lie. it wasn’t cheap but not outrageous either.

Lovely staff and comfy stay
I only stayed a night but wow, the staff was super nice and helpful! My room was really clean, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. They also have a cozy bar area for a nightcap, which I loved. Just a bummer that parking was a bit tricky since it’s limited nearby.
